The Rose Miniaci Legacy Award Presented by Symphony of the Americas Society

Rose MiniaciRose Miniaci has spent a lifetime making a difference. Her passion for education and the arts is legendary.

Many organizations, too numerous to mention, have benefited from her commitment and generosity to our community. Rose has created an educational endowment at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts which allows school children from all socio-economic backgrounds to take advantage of learning through the arts. She has provided funds for high school students to pursue their education in the arts. To this day, Rose continues to enrich the lives of all who reside here and embodies the true spirit of philanthropy and service.

A tribute luncheon In Rose’s honor will be held on April 8, 2016 at The Ritz Carlton, Fort Lauderdale. As the pinnacle of Style and Substance and in recognition of her remarkable achievements – The Rose Miniaci Legacy Award – will be presented to her by the Symphony of the Americas Society at the luncheon.

Rose Miniaci has been a generous supporter of the Symphony of the Americas, establishing the Maestro’s Chair through a major gift. Now in its 28th season, the Symphony of the Americas, Broward’s own professional orchestra, has been designated as a Broward County Major Cultural Institution. Since it was founded in 1987, the orchestra has brought the best of classical music to South Florida.
