Principal Viola
 Marcano studied in the renown National Youth Orchestra Program of Venezuela (El Sistema) taking Violin lessons with Eleazar Yeguez. He studied at the conservatory Simon Bolívar in Caracas Venezuela. In 1993 he was Principal violist of The Gran Mariscal De Ayacucho Symphony Orchestra conducted by Maestro Rodolfo Saglimbeni in Caracas. In 1998 he attended graduate school in the United States at Duquesne and Carnegie Mellon Universities in Pittsburgh. In 2001 he held the position of violist in the Niles string quartet, graduate quartet in residence at the University of Kentucky. His teachers included Atar Arad, Joen Vasquez, Jose Roman,Dorotea Hoffman, Humberto Armas. He has received master classes with renowned professors such as Andres Cardenes, Gerard Cause, Margaret Pardee, Michael Kugel, Lawrence Dutton, and Sidney Hart. He is an active Chamber Music Performer and is currently Principal Violist of the Symphony of the Americas in Fort Lauderdale Florida
